Woman’s support worker (Part Time 2- 3 days week)
We are recruiting a part time woman’s support worker in light of the new round of funding from the London Councils. The role includes:
- Undertaking casework covering the full range of Welfare Benefits and Women Supports.
- Assisting clients with other related problems where they are an integral part of their case and refer to other advisors or specialist agencies as appropriate.
- Liaising with other agencies and professionals to establish appropriate availability and accessibility of their services for the clients, and to negotiate on behalf of the clients with statutory and voluntary agencies including lawyers specialising in immigration and family law.

Administrator and fundraising worker (Part Time 2-3 days week)
We are currently seeking an Administrator and Fundraising Worker to support the office and the delivery of fundraising and community events.
The fundraising role will include leading all fundraising activities internally and externally, ensuring costs are kept to a minimum, and reported to sponsors and funders.
The Administrative role will include handling telephone enquiries, maintaining an efficient and effective office, office filing, maintaining company’s record in accordance with the law and regulations, and book-keeping work.

Honorary Treasurer (Accountant) – Unpaid
We are looking for an Honorary Treasurer and Accountant to join us. We are an independent charity created to serve the Chinese community, providing advice and information on a wide range of subjects. We attend over 1,000 clients a year on average and we receive annual funding of around £100k.
We are looking for a qualified accountant who is familiar with the charity SORP, able to manage financial systems and take a lead role in financial decision making.
You must be able to attend four board meetings per year, and other sub-group meetings. The post of treasurer/accountant is unpaid but will provide you with a great deal of experience and satisfaction. All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
