Chinese Information and Advice Centre (CIAC) is the only frontline Chinese charity providing support and advocacy in the area of violence against women and girls. We are a part of a multilingual project, which is called ASCENT (please see Our Services).
A new funding round for the ASCENT project just started from April 2017 and will last for 3 years. With this new funding, CIAC can keep its commitment in improving the safety and benefits of Chinese women and girls against violence in Greater London. Aside from the original 24/7 telephone helpline, face-to-face advice clinics and outreach events and workshops, we are also developing more innovative approaches with modern technology for engaging with hard to reach client groups and for better service provision.
