The Awards Ceremony had been successfully held at China Exchange @ London Chinatown on 11 November 2020.
This event is hosted by the Lord Sheikh and the Chinese Information and Advice Centre, the 7th Outstanding Female Volunteer Award and the newly added One Heart One Heart Anti-epidemic Award Online Award Ceremony was successfully held on November 11 at the China Station in Chinatown, London.
This year’s judges are composed of eight women, all of whom have outstanding achievements in their fields, including members of parliament, queen representative, deputy mayor of Westminster, parliamentarians, and representatives of the Greater London Council.
This year’s Outstanding Female Volunteer winner is Ms. Fujikaku. The Individual Category of the One-Heart Anti-epidemic Special Award was won by NHS physiotherapist Cen Junxin, and the group/association category was won by the British Beijing Federation.
CIAC Chairman Yang Qingquan, Justice of the Peace, mentioned in an online event that although he was affected by the epidemic this year, he was still very happy to see everyone’s contribution to the Chinese community and mainstream society during the difficult period.
We are honored to receive awards from the Queen of England, the Minister of British Security, Lord Bates and his wife, the Metropolitan Police Chief, the Public Counselor and Consul General of Tong Xuejun of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, Deng Zhuting OBE, Chairman of the London Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Shan Sheng, the famous overseas leader Congratulatory speech at the ceremony. Lord Sheikh and Counselor Lu Haitian from the Chinese Embassy in the UK went online to attend the award ceremony.
